SoutheastCon 2008

The Huntsville Section is continuing its efforts in planning for the 2008 SoutheastCon which will be held in Huntsville in first week of April 2008. The theme for the conference is “Return to the Moon”. The conference committee includes members from the section, UAH, and Alabama A&M. The rules for the robotics competition have been developed by John Piccirillo and Dr. Laurie Joiner of UAH, and will provide a challenging contest. The UAH Student Chapter and UAH Senior EE students are supporting rules testing and suggesting useful design guidelines. Dr. Charles Corsetti at UAH and Dr. Kaveh Heidary at AAMU are leading the technical sessions and have issued an initial Call for Papers.
