SoutheastCon 2008

The Huntsville Section is continuing its efforts in planning for the 2008 SoutheastCon which will be held in Huntsville in first week of April 2008. The theme for the conference is “Return to Moon”. The conference committee includes members from the section, UAH, and Alabama A&M. The rules for the robotics competition have been developed by Drs. John Piccirillo and Laurie Joiner, and will exhibit a challenging contest. The UAH Student Chapter and UAH Senior EE students have supported investigation and have provided useful suggestions for design guidelines.

A subset of the committee will be attending the 2007 SoutheastCon in 2007 in Richmond, VA, in March to introduce the conference in Huntsville. The committee is still looking for willing volunteers to assist in planning. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Eric Grigorian or Bob Robinson.
