The Educational Activities Committee has been very busy during March and early April. The Section presented special awards at the North Alabama Regional Science and Engineering Fair (NARSEF) and Alabama State Science and Engineering Fair (ASEF). These awards include a certificate and $100 Savings Bond for 4 Junior and 4 Senior projects at each fair. Some of our members also judged at the Alabama Consortium on Technology in Education (ACTE) northwest regional competition on Wednesday, March 29th at the VBC.

Some of the planning committee for SoutheastCon 2008 attended this year’s event in Memphis. More details will be in the next issue.
