Delete. It’s the word likely running through your mind this very moment.
Why should I read this? How did I get to the third sentence? Could this letter hold anything of importance? No.
But maybe over the next 365 days it will. My name is Jeff Cotten, and I’m pleased to say that I am a Graduate of the Last Decade.
Not being in school is a wonderful thing, and having an income is even better. I want to meet the people in my field, and more importantly, I want those people to give me a job. And when my boss asks me “hey, we have a position open, you know anyone?” I want to say “yes, boss, I do.” Because that makes my boss think I know what I’m talking about. And that is a wonderful thing.
So keep your ears tuned to this year in GOLD. We’re going to do stuff, and it will be fun, and you probably won’t even regret doing it.
