UAH Charger Student Chapter Presentation

Representatives from the Huntsville IEEE Section presented a check to the UAH Charger Student Chapter on Thursday, December 8 in the UAH Electrical and Computer Engineer office. Huntsville Section Treasurer Courtney Spivey, front right, is presenting the check to Greg Reed, UAH Chapter President. Witnessing the presentation in the back row are Robotics Chair Bob Robinson, Section Chair Keith Jadus, and Dr. Reza Adhami, UAH ECE Department Head.

After UAH students from the chapter submitted two excellent responses to a request for grant proposals, the Huntsville Section Executive Committee awarded two subsidies to the UAH Student Chapter, one to support the 2006 Southeast Conference Robotics contests (hardware, software, paper, and T-shirt) in Memphis next spring and the other to support the Triana Fire-Fighting Robotics Contest.
