Hello Everyone,

This month our activities are overshadowed by the tragedy that struck New Orleans. Our thoughts go out to them and the many locals that have friends and family who have been so affected by this tragedy.

The Huntsville Section Call For Nominations is in this issue. Additionally, a note about the elections being held for Region 3, IEEE, and IEEE-USA is included. The EMS and EMC Chapters will be holding a meeting this month. Additionally, continuing with our Meet The ExCom series, I will be featured this month.

In the next month, we are planning for our support of the Robotics projects for next year's SouthEastCon in Memphis. Additionally, there are some upcoming local events, including the Huntsville Simulation Conference.
