Ode on Wheels
A Poem for Dawn Creed by Willy Albanes

Once doing a Century in miles
Wind in my face
My bicycle paused for a while
Place you ate

You are beautiful as a Tour jersey
Useful as grease
Comfortable as a well used saddle
Huggable as is

Strong and giving as a carbon frame
You are all I see
Make my head spin like a Phil Wood Axle
Mean it all to me
