Frank Parris currently serves as the Chairman of the Educational Activities Committee for the Huntsville Section, IEEE, and was recently elected to the Executive Committee position Member At Large. Frank has been a member of IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society since 1990, and has presented papers on artificial neural network topics at two IEEE sponsored conferences, as well as other artificial intelligence topics at several other venues. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, in 1983, after his military service he went on to obtain a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alabama, Huntsville, in 1993. Frank currently works for Jacobs Sverdrup Technology, Inc., in Huntsville, as a NASA contractor in flight operations support to Space Station payloads. He especially loves interacting with future scientists and engineers in his Educational Activities role with the IEEE.
