Cyber Security Risk Assessment for Automation Systems

The North Alabama ISA Section Will Be Having A Meeting / Seminar Tuesday, January 25, 2005, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. The Seminar to be presented is: Cyber Security Risk Assessment for Automation Systems - Network Security Series

Lunch will be provided free on a first come first serve basis. The lunch items to be provided are: Subway Sandwiches and Coke/Sprite.

The meeting will be at the Decatur Chamber of Commerce Building on 6th Avenue, just past the Tennessee River Bridge, on the Right.

Abstract: Risk Analysis is an important step in creating your Cyber Security Plan for your automation system. Risk Analysis not only identifies security vulnerabilities but also provides the business case for the countermeasures that reduce risk. This course introduces control engineers to the concepts of Risk Analysis and how they are applied to industrial manufacturing and control systems. This course is also valuable for IT professionals who wish to learn the special considerations of automation systems in performing Risk Analysis.
