Electrical Insulation Conference 2005
Call For Papers

The Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC) will hold its next full series of meetings at the Indiana Convention Center, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, October 24-26, 2005. EIC is co-sponsored by the Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).

Papers are invited on the following topics:
      Diagnostics and repair methods for electrical apparatus
      New materials and systems to make electrical apparatus more efficient
      Design & manufacture of fuel cells including residential & automotive applications
      Development & application of international & national standards (IEC, IEEE, ASTM, UL)
      New insulating materials and processing methods
      Environmental aspects of insulation
      Effects of drives and inverter duty on insulation systems
      Assessment of low voltage wiring
      Safety issues involving electrical apparatus and insulating materials
