Hello Members,

As the Fall season is getting underway, I would like to take this time to make an appeal to each and everyone one of you. If you would consider joining the current active members of the IEEE Huntsville Section, it would mean a great deal to us.

We have had a few accomplishments during my two terms as Chair. To name a few: two outstanding as well as profitable technical conferences, reviving inactive Chapters, and the formation of two new Society Chapters in our Section. Nevertheless; there is a void in the active membership. We have been working diligently to provide top quality technical programs for the benefit of our membership.

NOW is the time for the membership to step up to the plate and give back to the Section. We need YOU in order to sustain the quality of programs and caliber of active board members. The 2005 Nominating Committee is currently brainstorming to select a slate of officers for next year. If you feel that you can contribute some time to our Section, please let me know. We will definitely find a place for you to apply your talents (great or small). If you have a little or a lot of time to contribute, all time will be greatly appreciated.
