TEAMS WEEK 2004
March 30 through April 1
Von Braun Center
What is TEAMS?
The Technological Excellence in Aviation, Missiles and Space (TEAMS) Week is sponsored by the Huntsville Association of Technical Societies (HATS). As in past years, TEAMS Week will address the future research and development technology environment and issues affecting all our mission areas. Both the Government and industry are dependent on attracting and retaining employees with the requisite skills to keep our nation's advantage in space and defense. The TEAMS Week theme is Technology Forum for the Future.
TEAMS Week will highlight this community's unparalleled technological capabilities through exhibits and panel discussions of key technological areas of special interest to four Huntsville Federal agencies, the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), and the Missile Defense Agency Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD).
What happens during TEAMS?
TEAMS is a venue that combines multiple conferences, meal functions featuring top-notch speakers, and nightly socials all housed in and around an innovative exhibition arena that hosts the highest technical companies in our region. Throughout the course of the week, attendees can not only benefit from the information they derive from the various conferences, but they can also take advantage of a myriad of companies from our region who display their products and wares to the participants. Additionally, TEAMS hosts an educational technology tour to the federal agencies that are located in Huntsville and provides universities and colleges over $1,000,000 in research grants along with travel stipends to their students and administrators.
