The Ideal Candidate will have advanced study in Business or Public Administration with an emphasis in Information Management and at least 6 years of IT experience managing a budget and staff similar in size/structure of the Hennepin County IT Department (300 staff/87 million annual operating budget). The CIO is the County's top information technology professional and is a critical part of the County Administrator's management team. The CIO is responsible for establishing a vision for the integrated role of IT; articulating a technology strategy; and fostering and managing a county-wide IT plan.
