Coming up in March and April the IEEE Huntsville Section will be participating in the North Alabama Regional Science and Engineering Fair, March 8-11, and the Alabama Science and Engineering Fair, April 1-3. For both events, IEEE will be presenting special awards -- a certificate and $100 savings bond -- for first place in each of four categories (Junior Division- Physical Science, Math & CS, Engineering, and Computer Science; Senior Division- Physics, Math, Computer Science, and Engineering).

Judging for the Regional will be Tuesday, March 9th, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL, with special awards being presented to winners Thursday evening, March 11th, at 6:30 pm in the CCC Kelley Gymnasium. Judging for State will be Friday, April 2nd, 8:15 am - 3:00 pm, at Spragins Hall, UAH, with awards being presented at a Special Awards Ceremony and Banquet that evening at 7:00 pm, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville (tickets must be purchased in advance).
