The UAH Engineering Student Council along with Charger IEEE and other engineering clubs at UAH are currently planning a week of events to celebrate E-Week 2004. In its third year, the Council has maintained a fairly active schedule of events. Sponsoring a full week of daily activities is, by far, the most ambitious program the council has yet to put on.
Beginning on Saturday, February 21st, will be a 5k run around the loop at UAH. This event will be open to the public, Medals will be awarded to the top three males and females in each age group and each overall male and female runners after the race. Donations will be accepted in lieu of entry fees. UAH engineering clubs will compete against one another in this event and other E-Week events to determine an E-Week champion. The club which earns the most points over the course of the week will be recognized at the E-Week banquet.
Other events and competitions being held during E-Week feature Engineering Olympics, an Engineering Scavenger Hunt, a Duct Taping competition (to see which group can secure one of their team members to the wall with duct tape for the longest), a Produce Chuckin' contest, and a Pi the Faculty event.
