Hello Everyone,

I hope that your Thanksgiving Holiday was wonderful. I had a great time with my family, but I found 3 pounds that week eating so much. :o) I'm sure I'll be able to loose them again before Christmas, so I can find them again. Don't you just love the holiday season? Well the end of the year is fast approaching and I wanted to invite each of you to our Annual Meeting, which will be held at the Fogcutter restaurant on December 18th, 2003 from 6 - 9pm. It's usually lots of fun to socialize with everyone and have a few drinks (if you like). This year we are having a joint meeting and extending this invitation to the GOLD and AES members, because we want to see your face in the place! Upcoming events include Engineers' Week (E-Week) activities that will be held in February 2004 and our IEEE Huntsville Section 50th Year Anniversary! Yes, that's right, your section has been around a VERY long time. Quite naturally, we are planning to celebrate this year like none other. We have several things planned for E-Week, including a Banquet at the Von Braun Center on 2/26/04, and a 5K Walk/Run scheduled for 2/21/04 on the campus of UAH. Please come out and support our E-Week activities. You can enter the Walk/Run as an individual, or if you're a seasoned runner, you can sign up to be on our IEEE Huntsville Section Team. We will be competing against the IEEE Student Section and other technical organizations for prizes, so email me if you want to participate.
