2nd annual Olin B. King Entrepreneurship Seminar Series
Huntsville area entrepreneurs and young businesses will now have a series of regularly scheduled seminars designed just for their needs, at the 2nd Annual Olin B. King Excellence in Entrepreneurship Series. The twice-monthly, four-hour classes will help young businesses expand their horizons, learn to make better decisions, plan and manage for the future they want, structure merger and acquisition deals, raise capital, manage people and other resources, perform market research and reach out to their customers with effective marketing and sales campaigns. The Huntsville Times and RNR Ventures, LLC are serving as overall financial sponsors; individual session sponsors will be announced as they are confirmed.
Seminars will usually be held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the UAH Administrative Science Building, room #114. Each session costs $49.95, and attendees will receive course materials, refreshments, and a 20% discount coupon good toward the attendance fee at any future series event. Season passes are available at $625 (a 50% discount over single tickets), and quarterly (six session) passes are available at $225 (a 25% discount). The faculty will include instructors from UAH, the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt, Alabama A&M University, local and regional professional service providers, the MIT Enterprise Forum and successful area entrepreneurs.
