Hello Everyone,

Well it's March now and we're having a fantastic year already. We've had a few technical meetings that were very well attended. So you know we're going to keep up the pace and keep giving our members the information and expertise they need. There's only one problem though. I need FEEDBACK! So here's the call.

Many of you want more technical programs and other benefits from our Huntsville Section. Let me hear from you! If you have specific topics and you would like us to host a Lunch-N-Learn session, then by all means let us know. Also, if you know of any speakers that are willing to share their knowledge with our members, send that information as well. If you are a speaker and would like us to coordinate a meeting, that would be great. Remember the IEEE Huntsville Section is YOUR Section and it is here to serve YOU!

Since last month, I've gotten a few more responses from members interested in getting involved and helping us further the mission of the IEEE. Of course, we wouldn't want to let anyone feel left out. We can always use YOU too! I want to invite any interested person to feel free to join us at our monthly Executive Committee meeting. It is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 11:15am in the Papa Lovetti's Restaurant banquet room. It is our standard business meeting, but we will definitely take some time out to meet our interested members.

Finally, I know times can be hard with many of us trying to compete for jobs in this fallen economy. Another benefit of this organization is networking. It is common knowledge that the best jobs are usually filled before they ever get advertised. Come to our technical meetings and meet people. The person you meet today may be the person with a need tomorrow, or the person who interviews you next week.

If you have job openings, please lets us know and we will spread the word. So let's all help to make the IEEE Net Work!
