We are once again faced with departure of yet another active member. Dr. Hans Schantz is moving to Georgia. I would personally like to thank Hans for all his hard work in forming the Joint Communication, Antennas and Propagation, and Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (JCAM). I would like to wish Hans great success in his future endeavors. As a result of Hans' departure, Mark Barnes will become the Chair for the JCAM.

Believe it or not, next year, the Huntsville Section will start celebrating its 50th anniversary.
