Section Activities

The Executive Committee just recently approved submitting proposal to host the 2003 RADARCON in Huntsville. The Executive Committee also approved sponsoring a Conference on Advances of Signal Processing for Military Applications in October of 2002. The Section is also actively involved in the preparations for the AUTOTESTCON 2002. With all these activities, we are looking for volunteers to help out in various capacities. If you are interested in participating in any of the upcoming events, please feel free to contact any of the Section Officers.

Future of the IEEE

Once again it is time to plan for IEEE’s Annual Election. I am sure that you have already received you election ballots in the mail. With the current affairs that have been in the news for the past few weeks, the IEEE election is probably not the most important thing on your mind. Please take the time to review each candidate’s statements and then vote. Please remember that headquarters must receive all ballots by noon, 1 November 2001..
