Abstract: What computer-related-workplace injuries and trauma are seen in practice; what exercises and behaviors can help prevent them, work area ergonomics for good health, environmental factors in stress and strain. Exercises you can do at your desk while working. Recovery from workplace-related strain, stress, trauma, and injuries.

Biographical Sketch: Joy Watson is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Huntsville Hospital Therapy. She graduated from Wallace State Physical Therapy Assistant program, and has been with Huntsville Hospital for 3 years.

Kevin Ready graduated in Tuscaloosa from the University of Alabama in Athletic Training (Sports Medicine), and spent a year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Alabama A&M University, and three years in Huntsville Hospital in Sports Medicine. He also does some marketing for the hospital. They are both on a team that sees mostly work-related injuries.

NOTES:

  1. We will eat from 11:30 - 12:00 noon and the talk will begin at 12:00 noon. All lunch will be Dutch treat. The price for lunch is under $7.00 (cost subject to selection, gratuity included).

  2. El Palacio's is on the West side of The Parkway just South of Governor's Drive. Go through the line to get your drink and choose your lunch selections, then bring your drink to the back room. Your lunch and silverware will be brought to you.
