AUTOTESTCON 2002

by Pat Griffin

AUTOTESTCON 2002 will be held in Huntsville, October 21 through October 24th 2002. We are currently seeking and soliciting Government and Industry professionals who can help with the Executive Committee assignments in preparation for AUTOTESTCON 2002. Consider yourself a leader and asset to making this southern conference on Automatic Testing a rousing success by volunteering, nominating or suggesting individuals for a position on AUTOTESTCON 2002's Executive Committee. We need your talent, commitment to professionalism and technical experience in order to put together and carry out a successful conference.

A little about AUTOTESTCON (visit www.autotestcon.com):

IEEE AUTOTESTCON is the world’s only conference that focuses primarily on Automated Test and related technology for military, government and aerospace applications. It has been in existence for over 35 years, and has grown into the premier annual conference for this application field. The Conference is held annually each fall at a different location around the US, and has two IEEE Societies as permanent sponsors, the Instrument & Measurement Society (I & M), and the Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society (AESS).

Our next meeting will be held on the Arsenal, June 21st at 1:30 PM in Bldg 5436, room 20. We will have our 2002 booth for the 2001 show set up and filled with actual or placeholder items. All companies involved on the Exec Committee are being urged to bring or send your company logo to display on our booth during the 2001 conference. The 2001 conference will be held in Valley Forge, PA August 20-23 and it will be "our year" to sell our 2002 Huntsville booth spaces and promote our show.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have or Jim Anderson (AUTOTESTCON Finance Chair) and Scott Trites (AUTOTESTCON Exhibits Chair) are currently members on the Executive Committee and would be able to give you any information that you might need.

I appreciate your consideration, acceptance, suggestions and reply to this request. Past conferences have always been hard work tied with fun, friends and tremendous technical information to our testing industries and customers.

Thanks for your consideration!! I look forward to your response in joining us on working AUTOTESTCON 2002!
