Abstract: A presentation on the status of power availability in north Alabama, and where the State of Alabama is in deregulating the electric power industry. |

Biographical Sketch: Mr. Henry O'Quinn grew up in Samson, Alabama. He graduated with an Electric Engineering degree from Auburn University. He was a Captain with the U.S. Army Signal Corps stationed in Germany. He has been a Telephone Systems Engineer in Montgomery, Assistant Division Engineer with Alabama Power Company in Montgomery, General Manager of a Multiservice Municipal Utility in Thomasville, GA and is currently the Assistant General Manager for Operations with Huntsville Utilities. Mr. O'Quinn is a member of the Greater Huntsville Rotary Club, Huntsville-Madison County Leadership, and Electric Cities (Al) Executive Committee. |
