We were late getting our May issue online since our Editor was on travel for 3-weeks. We were planning to incorporate additional information into the May issue but since the material articles did not make it in time prior to our Editors departure, we released the issue with less of detail. We are hopeful that this issue will be released on time with current inputs.

HunTEC

After long discussions and weighing all options regarding the HunTEC, the executive board accepted the HunTEC Committees recommendation to abandon the HunTEC 2001 show planned for August of this year. This decision was based on minimal response to Call for Papers (only 3 respondents) and booth sign-up. The board decided to concentrate its activities for the 2002 AutoTestCon to be held in Huntsville.

SECTION MEETING

We are planning to continue our activities during summer by holding Section, AES, and CSS meetings. Please refer to the meeting announcements in this and upcoming newsletters in July and August. If you have any specific topic that you like your Section to host, please feel free to contact me at egrigorian@ieee.org.
