TNT1-17: Under the covers with Windows 2000 Security - 200 In Windows 2000, the primary method of authentication has changed from NTLM to Kerberos. In this session you will learn how Kerberos works and how to leverage it to provide single sign-on within your environment. We will also discuss the support and use of Smart Cards. Also, they'll describe the complete Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) that has been built into Windows 2000 and how customers can use it to deploy intranet, extranet, and Internet applications. This talk will demonstrate several Windows 2000 out-of-the-box features such as Smart Card logon, secure Web access, and S/MIME e-mail. They'll also cover integration with Active Directory, Kerberos, and Policy.
